Kugel Construction delivered a ground-up, 12,400 SF Kiddie Academy of Tehaleh in Bonney Lake, creating a polished, high-capacity early learning center designed to serve up to 200 children. Located in one of Pierce County’s fastest-growing master-planned communities, the facility needed to give parents confidence, support smooth daily operations, and provide the owner with a durable, recognizable asset. From its prominent timber-framed entry and stone-accented exterior to its purpose-built learning environment, the finished Academy creates a welcoming first impression while meeting the practical demands of a busy childcare operation. Built on an irregular site within Tehaleh’s architectural-review environment, the project required thoughtful coordination of site use, constructability, design standards, and long-term flexibility. Kugel turned those constraints into a high-performing facility positioned to serve families from day one, while preserving room for future expansion as the surrounding community continues to grow.
