Kugel Construction built this new Taco Bell drive-thru in Graham, Washington, turning a complex site and evolving requirements into a restaurant that opened ahead of its critical year-end deadline. Kugel navigated multiple prototype modifications required by the local jurisdiction while keeping design, permitting, procurement, and construction moving forward. To protect the schedule, the team proactively managed inventory and warehoused kitchen equipment and décor packages until they were needed onsite. Then the original septic designer unexpectedly stepped away. Kugel took ownership to coordinate a redesigned commercial septic system, sourcing a qualified local installation team, and completing the work on time and under budget. Despite the challenges, the finished restaurant opened early and met the client’s development requirements without sacrificing brand standards, operational performance, or architectural character.
