Project Description

Well over a decade in the planning process we were excited to be the general contractor when this project broke ground. The original school building was used by law enforcement and emergency personnel training which culminated in a practice burn.

Construction became challenging when we encountered undocumented fill which was not discovered by test borings. Ultimately this resulted in approximately 800 Cubic Yards of CDF (Controlled Density Fill) under many of the footings and export/import of approximately 30,000 cubic yards/tons of dirt/rock in the parking areas.

The mix of products and colors used to finish the project are very complimentary and provided a unique learning environment for the students, a testament to the hard work of the all-volunteer design team.
